Hainer's Discount Tire & Auto Parts Inc originally opened its doors in April 1989 over off of Hartzel Road in St. Catharines in a converted house with a single car garage out back. When we first started we were going to be selling used auto parts, hence the name, as well as tires. As time progressed, we decided to put Harvey's Automotive Service Technician license to use and start repairing cars as well. We hired an apprentice under the futures program.
The business began to grow.
In 1994, we were approached by the owner of Pete's Automotive to purchase their already thriving Auto Repair Shop at our current location in Port Dalhousie. So we did!
We started at our current location in July of 1994 and the business has continued to grow since.
We brought our tire business with us and phased out of the used auto parts end of it and continued to repair cars.
Hainer's is now a full car and truck automotive repair and tire facility with 4 Licensed Automotive Service Technicians as well as 2 Tire Technicians.
